In the old days when computers first came out, I’d make a mistook and get an error message saying, ‘syntax error, try again’. Anyone remember those?
Syntax is the use of correct ordering to realise a different result from the same components.
Eg, … the cat chased the mouse
Vs. … the mouse chased the cat.
The same components yet a very different outcome.
When it comes to happiness and feeling good;
The ‘usual order’ is …
Experience external conditions, then notice how that ‘makes you feel’.
No, no, no!
Results? – Unless things are perfect you begin to unhappy yourself by wanting to change the conditions around you.
A ‘better syntax’ …
Experience how good you feel, then notice the external conditions that support it.
- Start at neutral/equanimous(easiest upon waking)
- Choose how you want to feel
- Find and align with that vibration
- As the day rolls, notice the cooperative components that support that feeling.
- By allowing them to remain you are creating the conditions in life you want.
Results? Joy, happiness, appreciation.
The absence of any desire to change conditions or people around you.
This is a process or pathway towards the type of love that remains strong no matter what the external conditions become.
It’s unconditional love.
